Downcity Outfitters is a specialized boutique in Providence, Rhode Island that sells premium outdoors clothing and gear. Inspired by open-air and camping environments, the brand explores freedom and space in a modern, simple way with its freehand logotype. The custom traced typography represents two things: first, the brand’s honest intentions in providing only products of high-quality craftsmanship. And second, it has a touch of nostalgia that relates to the old-school specialty shops of typical American small towns at the turn of the century, a nod to simpler, more carefree times.

Apoyando la comunidad local y su afición por estar al aire libre, Downcity ofrece ambos productos locales y equipo de excursionismo, alpinismo y campamento, convirtiéndose de esta manera en el lugar ideal para cualquier aficionado de la naturaleza.
Nuestra propuesta tomó inspiración de espacios abiertos y el medio ambiente. La marca explora la libertad y el espacio, pautada claramente en el logotipo, diseñado cuidadosamente a mano alzada. El logotipo custom representa dos cosas. Primero, la intención honesta de la marca de vender sólo productos artesanales de alta calidad. Y segundo, la nostalgia de tiempos mas tranquilos y sencillos típicos de pequeños pueblos estadounidenses a comienzos de siglo XX.
